I asked a local female on what her view of guys hitting on the girls at the gym was.
She said, "When a guy comes at you at the gym, its obvious he has been staring at you the entire time. It makes me self concious during my workouts because I can feel him starring at me."
Honestly I couldnt agree more. Everyday I go to the gym I witness numerous men staring and talking about girls in the gym. Nothing could more creepy than being a girl at the gym, on the treamill, and you look up and notice three dudes starring at you. If you see a girl by herself with her headphones in, running on a treadmill, that is not an invitiation to approach her and say "hey."
A majority of girls come to the gym for one purpose, and that purpose is not to get hit on by a bunch of sweaty dudes.
Men, do yourself and your diginity a favor, DONT STARE, DONT TALK.
Stick to what the purpose of the gym is, to work out and not hit on girls.

ReplyDeleteWhat about girls staring at guys at the gym? I know that when I go to the gym I probably stare without knowing I do it, especially super buff body build guys grunting every five seconds. Is all that noise really necessary? My point is I know a lot of girls who will go to the gym just to scope out hot guys, so does that put guys off? I doubt it does, but what do you think when you're running on the treadmill and you see a group of girls gossiping in the corner staring at you? It goes both ways.
ReplyDeleteIn my honest opinion it is extremely creepy. There is a time and a place for certain activities and the gym is not one of them. If guys are going to confront a girl in the gym at least don't stare. It also would help if they weren't sweaty and stinky. It would just be best to try to hit on girls elsewhere.
